The Ambassador Award is given to the best project by a DIA architect outside the DIA’s area.

The project at Grove Farm sensitively repurposes redundant farm outbuildings to create a new holiday cottage and a leisure building, blending traditional Lakeland stone with contemporary design and refined birch plywood interiors.

The judges were impressed by the discreet nature of the design, which allows the spectacular setting to take centre stage.
