Philip Levack Receives RIAS Conservation Accreditation

We’re very pleased to share that our Associate, Philip Levack, has been awarded RIAS Conservation Accreditation by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.

Philip’s accreditation provides formal recognition of professional competence and assures clients and funding bodies that we have the specialist knowledge, skills and experience within our practice required to lead projects conserving Scotland’s built heritage – from monuments to listed buildings and historic structures.

With over 27 years’ experience in the UK construction industry, including work on Listed Buildings, Philip has delivered architectural services across a wide range of conservation projects including several award-winning schemes. An Associate Architect at Andrew Black Design since 2022, he is committed to the long-term stewardship of historic buildings through sensitive adaptation and sustainable regeneration.

Philip is currently overseeing the conversion of the Category B Listed former Dundee Tram Depot into the new Dundee Museum of Transport – a project that exemplifies the value of conserving and reinvigorating important historic buildings.

Congratulations to Philip on this well-deserved achievement.
