Philip Levack

Associate, BBSc, BArch (Hons), RIAS

Philip is an ARB registered Associate Architect with considerable experience in the construction industry, having worked for several award-winning architectural practices in the UK, Malaysia, and New Zealand.

He has been involved in the realisation of a diverse range of high-profile projects in both design and project management roles. These have included residential and commercial schemes as well as healthcare, courts and hospitality projects. He has also been involved in the conservation and restoration of several listed buildings and historic structures. Six of these projects have gained architectural awards in the UK and one has received an American Institute of Architects award for interior architecture.

Philip has particular skills in transport projects, including bridges and roads, and has assisted teams in architectural matters in several major infrastructure projects.

Since joining Andrew Black Design in 2022, Philip has been closely involved with the restoration and conservation of the Grade B Listed former Dundee Tram Depot to create a new home for the Dundee Museum of Transport. He has also been involved in projects for the Highland Reserve Forces & Cadets Association and a new mixed-use development and corporate headquarters building for Scotch Whisky Investments.
