The Glass House

The classic upside down house, designed to take advantage of the fabulous views towards Edinburgh and the Forth Rail Bridge. The upper floor consists of a large kitchen and family space, leading to a lounge and formal dining area. All the upstairs rooms access the large south facing balcony from the vast sliding doors.

The entrance floor houses 2 bedrooms sharing a large Jack & Jill bathroom while the master bedroom has a large en-suite and dressing room.

The garage has a separate apartment above, also with fantastic views over the Firth of Forth. The apartment can be rented for holiday breaks theweeglasshouse.com.

The house featured in the More 4 programme “Building the Dream” hosted by Charlie Luxton. Charlie followed Alan & Lucie through their self-build, giving them tips and advice as they went along. Thankfully our design was only tweaked through the programme.
