Grace Cruickshank
Senior Architect, MArch, BA (Hons), RIAS
Grace joined Andrew Black Design in May 2023 following experience working in architectural practices locally in Dundee and Angus, as well as a period working in the North of Italy. She graduated from the University of Dundee in 2016 with a Masters in architecture and qualified as a registered architect in 2019.
Grace is interested in the ways in which buildings can aid and shape the lives of their users, as well as having a positive impact on the environment both in terms of aesthetics and energy efficiency. She has worked on a range of project types, from one-off new build houses and multiple house developments, to working with existing buildings including sensitive listed building projects, and commercial ventures.
Outside of work, Grace enjoys spending time with friends and family and toddler, Rosie. She is also undertaking a self-build renovation project of her family home – a partially converted 1860’s school building – with a focus on utilising sustainable technologies.
