Mathilde Leréec Le Bricquir

Architectural Assistant, MArch, DEEA

Mathilde joined Andrew Black Design in March 2020 as a Part II graduate, having completed her Masters at the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture in Aberdeen. Originally from France, she came to the UK as an exchange student from the Ecole Nationale Superieur d’Architecture et de Paysage de Lille and embraced Scotland as her new home. Recently, she successfully passed her Part III Examination in Professional Practice and Management.

Throughout her studies and professional experience, Mathilde has developed a keen interest in innovative and sustainable designs, particularly in conservation and historical environments. She has a natural curiosity for graphic representation in architecture, exploring both traditional and modern technologies.

Within the practice, Mathilde has worked on various residential and commercial projects, from house extensions across Tayside, renovation of listed houses in St Andrews, to a significant new mixed-use development and corporate headquarters building for Scotch Whisky Investments in Fife.

In her own time Mathilde can be found up a hill in the Highlands, exploring Scotland to draw the inspiration she uses in her personal graphic production.
